About Me
Hello...
my name is Claire Close and I live with my husband, our two children, aged 13 and 10 and our two friendly rescue dogs, gecko and hamster I offer a home from home warm and safe environment with various toys and activities allowing your child to learn and develop whilst in my care. After completing a 52 week nature study we love to learn outdoors and through nature as we work our way through the hygge accreditation. We have forest childcare and yoga sessions once a week. I was also graded good at my first ofsted inspection in March 2017.
I accept childcare vouchers and provide the government funding of 15 hrs and 30 hrs.

My Experience
I am a mother of two children (son aged 13 and daughter aged 10) I have experience with children of all ages as I worked in a local primary school before becoming a childminder.
My Qualifications
I have completed a Cache Level 3 home-based child award (pacey) and I am Level 3 paediatric first aid trained.
I have also completed various courses such as :
Level 3 child psychology diploma
Level 2, 3 and 4 special educational needs diploma
Autism awareness
ADHD awareness
Child attachment diploma
Mental health and well-being in children and young adults
Food hygiene and Food allergens
Safeguarding and child protection
Behaviour management
Delivering the EYFS
Introduction to Autism spectrum disorder
And supporting children with speech, language and communication needs.
I have recently completed a 52 week nature study and I am currently working on my hygge accreditation.
My Availability
My hours of work are 7.30-5.00 Monday to Thursday and 7.30.2 on fridays, I aim to be as flexible as possible and will do my best to changed these hours of needed.
