About Me
Hi I’m Loren , I am a 30 year old mature female looking for ad-hoc childcare work (evenings and weekends) to fit in with my current situation of being a student and mum of two under two.
I have 12 years childcare experience a CACHE level 3 childcare qualification and a first class honours degree in child psychology - currently completing a masters in child and adolescent mental health.
In addition to being a mum and raising my own children, I have many years of experience as a full time and part time nanny with children aged from birth up to 10 years including multiple twin families and additional needs.
I also Previously worked as a teaching assistant in a school for 3 years with age range 3-11. I have also worked in a private daycare setting for a year before beginning my time as a teaching assistant.
I am a fun loving but responsible, energetic person who loves to be active and the outdoors, I am also very creative and enjoy all creative activities as well as baking,cooking and reading. I love animals, have 2 dogs of my own so will have no problem with pets!!
Working with children really is my passion and has been from a very young age. I believe that children learn best through play and hands on experiences so I try to make my time with children as enjoyable and fun as possible planning a variety of exciting activities and day trips. I always give my everything to ensure that your child/children's individual needs are met, they are nurtured and given the best care and opportunities and most importantly that their safety and happiness is paramount. I aim to fit in to your family and continue with your preferred way of doing things/ parenting style so your children have the stability and your routine is kept across all areas.

My Experience
10 years experience in childcare including 8 years as a nanny (full time and part time sole charge and as a mothers help when babies were young) , teaching assistant and private daycare.
My Qualifications
I have a first class honours degree in child psychology and am currently almost finished completing a masters in child and adolescents mental health .I have a CACHE level 3 childcare diploma, I am first aid trained, I achieved grades A-C In 11 GCSE'S.
