Hi my name is Lucy, I am 34 years of age and have two beautiful daughters aged 12 and 2 1/2 years.
My Experience
Before going on maternity leave in December 2014, I worked as a Higher Level teaching assistant at a primary school for 9 years. Teaching a variety of classes from reception through to year 6 on a daily basis. I have also worked for many years supporting children who have special needs.
I have my HLTA teaching status, NVQ Level 2 and 3 in childcare , CRB checked, First aid certificate for infant and children plus many more qualifications.
I am a patient and caring person who absolutely loves children. Before teaching I nannied for 2 years for two girls aged 2 and 5. I found looking after these lovely little ones very rewarding therefore I have started to pursue this career again.
I am currently working for a family who have two girls but sadly this is due to end soon therefore I am now looking for new employment.
I have been very fortunate to be able to take my 2 1/2 year old daughter with me to the family's home. This arrangement has not only benefited me, but it has also has helped the other family's child to learn to socialise and share. The girls have built a fantastic relationship up and we will both be very sad to leave.
