Hi I’m Kairen! I’m 28 years old from Edinburgh and have been working for the City of Edinburgh in nursery and early years for the last 5 years. I have also worked as a nanny and a babysitter.
I enjoy baking, arts and crafts but mostly following the child’s lead in their play.
My Experience
I started babysitting at 14, looking after some of my younger brothers friends. I then started college in 2014 studying Early Education and Childcare. During this time I babysat regularly for a family from Germany. After graduating, I worked as a nanny for a year and then started working for Edinburgh Council as an Early Years Practitioner and then more recently in a promoted post as an Early Years Officer. I have experience working with children mostly 6 months - 5 years aswell as some experience with children up to 10.
My Qualifications
NC and HNC in Early Education and Childcare. I graduated from Fife College in June 2016.
Food Hygiene certificate.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid at Work.
Asthma and Allergies training.
Child Protection level 2 and level 4.
My Availability
I am available after 6pm weekdays and some weekends.
