About Me
My homely, learning environment offers the children comfort, security, engagement and opportunity whilst wholly supporting their individual needs and interests.
Children benefit from the opportunity to explore and investigate natural resources both indoors and outdoors.
I have a passion for the great outdoors, discovering wildlife and embracing nature. The children experience the natural and social world through regular visits to the woods, forest, country park, the coast, Wiltshire wildlife & National Trust venues.
Having positive relationships and working together with parents is crucial in developing ways to support the children I care for both in the setting and at home. Each unique family is welcomed and listened to.
Parents receive daily communication.
I work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. I offer a blended curriculum taking the best bits from The Curiosity approach, Forest school, Hygge, Montessori and Reggio Emilia.
The children's learning and play is driven by their interests.
My family includes my husband- Matthew and our two active boys- Alfie aged 15yrs & Freddie aged 10yrs. We also have a resident Cocker Spaniel named Wellington! AKA Wellie or Boots!

My Experience
I have 23 years of childcare related experience working with children from birth-16yrs of age.
I have worked in family homes, pre-schools, schools & managed a day nursery.
I have also worked as a social care worker. Supporting young people with Autistic spectrum disorders.
I have been childminding since Sept 2009 & I absolutely love my job!
In 2015 & again in 2022 I was graded OUTSTANDING by Ofsted.
Excellent references available.

*Diploma in Childcare & education (NNEB)

*Paediatric First Aid
*Level 2 in food safety
*Level 2 Safeguarding children
My Availability
Early years; I work with Early years children on a Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.
