My name is Nuria. I'm originally from Spain, but have lived in the UK for the past 5 years. I hold an MA in Contemporary Art Curating from the Manchester School of Art (MMU), and am also qualifed to teach Spanish as a foreign language. I also speak fluent Portuguese.
In addition, I hold a BA (HONS) in Sociology from Complutense University of Madrid. I have lived in Madrid, Lisbon, Guildford, London and currently I'm based in Manchester. I possess an special interest for contemporary arts, and also love travelling, teaching/learning languages, educating children, and visiting museums and galleries.
I'm passionate about children, and possess great communication and caring skills that I gained through my experience looking after kids for the last 10 years. Some roles I performed regarding children care are 'au-pair', babysitter, Spanish teacher, summer camp leader, and creative workshops.
My Experience
I started working with children when I was 16 as an English teacher in Spanish schools. I also worked few years as a summer camp leader, producing creative programmes of activities for kids and supervising health & safety procedures.
After that, I have been a part-time nanny while studying at university for 5 years, looking after 4-13 years old children. I also have experience as an 'au-pair', as I performed this role during 2 years when I first moved to the UK. The role as an au-pair included taking care of 3-14 years old children, assisting with homework, cooking meals for the kids, taking them to school/extracurricular activities, and teaching Spanish.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £10-15 depending on the area and the services required (I also offer Spanish teaching).
