Ofsted registered childminder. 12 years experience in childcare and education. My setting is a home from home learning environment.
Children in my care will explore all areas of learning through meaningful play and activities. I have an extensive range of sensory and educational equipment to support learning through play.
I have a large outdoor area with play equipment and a vegetable patch where children can grow their own vegetables.
Children go on regular outings, where they can learn about the world around them and interact with wildlife and enjoy what our community has to offer.
Children in my care will learn about healthy lifestyle choices. They will learn about healthy eating and have an opportunity to take part in choosing and preparing food.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
full day 8am till 6pm £45 or £7 per hour for part days
£55 for full weekend days and bank holidays
£60 overnight stays

My 18 month old son absolutely loves Michelle and the other children she cares for. He has so much fun playing in the garden, growing veggies, baking and painting. Michelle places a lot of emphasis on supporting his development through games and activities. His speech has improved significantly since he has been with her, and she is really great at explaining his progress to me. It's lovely to receive photo updates throughout the day too.
My son started with Michelle after we relocated to the area and following a negative experience at a local nursery, so I was nervous about how disruptive all the change might be for him. But she has been brilliant, she gives him lots of support and affection and he settled with her in no time at all.
Overall
Michelle is brilliant with both my boys. My youngest has been looked after since he was 10 months old, and loves going. Michelle offers a warm, caring, homely environment and exactly what I wanted after previously using a private nursery which was quite impersonal. She is very flexible which as a working mum is very much appreciated. The children go on trips to the library, park, play areas & zoos, and I regularly get photos whilst at work which is a great boost knowing they are happy. I can't recommend Michelle highly enough, she is fab!!
