About Me
My name is Ashley King and I am a Foster Carer for the London Borough of Hillingdon. I have a current and clear CRB/DBS check and a full clean driving license. I am very flexible and days can be arranged and changed at short notice.
I currently look after a 2 year old boy who is very good with other children and we have two friendly dogs in the household.
My Experience
I believe children learn through experience so we enjoy getting out and about with regular trips to storytime sessions and walks in the park or softplay.
I have been a foster carer for nearly 5 years and love my job. I have dealt with many different ages and difficulties with behavior.
I am first aid qualified and have taken at least 3 different training courses each year for the last 4 years as my foster training requires extensive training in a variety of subjects.
My Qualifications
I have no formal childcare qualifications but have been fostering children for the London Borough of Hillingdon for nearly 5 years. I am required to do at least 3 training courses a year these have included, Education based training, attachment, first aid, autism and many more.
My Availability
I am available week days from around 8am to around 6pm but I am very flexible.
I can do weekends when required and could do overnight if needed and the child was comfortable enough with me to do so.
