About Me

I moved to the UK at the age of 12. I moved from Portugal to Northampton, where I did my GCSEs and my A-Levels. I then moved to London to start University.

I’m have just finished my undergraduate in Law with Criminal Justice and Human Rights and I am planning to apply for a Masters.

My Experience

I have looked after children, within my own family, since I have turned 15.

I have looked after babies, toddlers and early childhood years. I have some experience with kids that are 12 or older, but I have more experience looking after the younger ones.

When looking after the children, I would help the ones in school with their homework and reading. Often preparing an after-school snack for the children. Rarely, but if needed I would make dinner so that when my aunt arrived home, there would be food ready for both her and her kids.

Over the last few months, I babysat (with Kory Kids) for a family in London with 2 girls (11 and 9).

My Qualifications

I am a very patient and loving person, so I thrive when looking after children. I can put down boundaries while also remaining on the child's 'good side'.

I speak Portuguese fluently and I am an intermediate in Spanish and trying to learn Korean. If prompted to, I would speak to the children in any of the languages above.

When looking after children, I often ask them if they would like to go outdoors. This is because I enjoy being outside in nature and also being in nature allows the children to learn about nature and wildlife. Also, I enjoy playing games when outdoors.
