My name is Maddison Hicks I am 26 years old and have been in full time work since the age of 15. I have 11 years experience working in a nursery and have worked my way up from an apprentice to nursery manager. I have worked with children ages 0-5yrs during my time at the nursery. I enjoy socialising with friends and spending quality time with my family. I have grown up around a very large loving family and I am one of six children and an auntie of seven so i have always been around children and babies. I have a Full clean UK driving licence and drive my own car. I enjoy reading and going on holiday with family.
My Experience
I have worked at a nursery since February 2011. I Began working as a student in July 2010 and have been in full time work since February 2011.To begin with I was employed as an apprentice and worked in the baby unit with children aged 3months-2years. Throughout my time at the nursery I have worked hard to get myself level 2 and 3 qualified in childcare, completed level 2 in team leading and Level3 in management. I have been a room leader and a deputy Manager and was promoted to manager soon after. I have attended many training courses and have experience with SEN. I am first aid trained and am very competent with the EYFS. I have copies of all relevant training certificates. I have also worked as a baby sitter and a children's entertainer at birthday parties outside of the work environment.
