I'm an outgoing, fun loving and enthusiastic person, happy to help people in need. I'm young and energetic and don't find it hard to come up with good ideas and have a fun time. I'm caring and am always looking out for the feelings and safety of the child/person I am caring for, as well as for the family. I respect families decisions and beliefs and am always open for suggestions that parents might have.
My Experience
I have worked as a Nanny looking after 2 girls aged 7 for 7 months and for another family with 2 children aged 5 and 7 (when I left) for nearly 4 years. I have also worked in a special needs school with children aged 4-5 and I loved my job to bits. The reason for leaving all of these jobs was due to moving house. I lived in South America for a month, with my cousin to help her look after her new born baby and two other Children aged 5 and 7 in 2009. I often had all 3 children by myself to allow my Cousin to go to work. It was challenging but great fun. I find working with children/people very rewarding and like to know I have made a difference in people's lives. I am currently on maternity leave so would need to have my 9 month old daughter with me. There could possibly be days where I leave her with a grandparent though.
My Qualifications
I have no qualifications on paper for any sort of childcare, but I have grown up with my Mum looking after children and have worked with children myself for the last 8, in Schools, as a Nanny and as a respite carer.
My Availability
I am available to work during the day and some weekends.
