About Me
My name is Sheryl and I was a childminder for 3 years. I now have a PGDE in Primary Education and hoping to begin my own holistic tutoring business. Offering a child-centred approach to education while aligning with the CFE. I have experience working with children with additional needs, including but not limited to, ADHD and autism. I want to help your child thrive and for education to work for them.
My Experience
I have worked with children in a variety settings, including: nurseries, primary and secondary schools. I implemented groups in South Edinburgh to help prevent isolation for parents and their children. In recent years, I attained my full teaching registration in Scotland, which has resulted in gaining invaluable experience as a primary school teacher.

We've been using Sheryl for about a year now, and my daughter absolutely loves going to visit her. In fact, Sheryl's own family has become like an extension to our daughter's life and she speaks about them all so fondly. Sheryl always has something fun to do with our daughter, and she always comes home talking about her time there. She challenges and inspires her kids, and we couldn't be happier.
Sheryl's communication is excellent. We chat on the phone and text, and we also see private updates on Facebook of what our daughter has been getting up to.
Highly recommended.

Sheryl was my son Connor's childminder for the last ten months. Connor is 10 and had an amazing experience with Sheryl and her 3 girls. He was always kept busy with trips to the local park, library, museum, cinema and various other activities. When at Sheryl.s home he enjoyed various activities such as arts and crafts, games, free time and Connors favourite baking. Sheryl was extremely flexible and such a lovely person to work with. It made my working week so much easier knowing that my son was in safe hands. Would not have managed without Sheryls invaluable help and support over the last months, Connor has made some great new friends and has very fond memories of his time with Sheryl. I wouldn't hesitate too use Sheryl again in the future.
