About Me
I am an experienced English teacher who loves helping young people make progress and reach their full potential.
I hold a first class honours degree and full PGCE in teaching English. I have worked in two secondary schools teaching through KS3, 4 and KS5.
Marking for both the WJEC and AQA exam boards for the past 3 years (including the new GCSE specification), has provided me with a wealth of information to help students prepare for their GCSE and ALevel examinations.
I have experience of tutoring students on a one-to-one basis and for small groups of intervention. Seeing the fantastic progress that young people make during these sessions is wonderful and a really fantastic part of my job.
I tailor my sessions to meet the needs of the individuals and to ensure that any gaps in their understanding are filled.
I am available to provide tuition in the evenings and at weekends.
