Hi there my name is Karen and I have lived near to Bearsden Cross for 24 years.
I am married to a local business man and have two happy grown up children who live at home. We have no pets and have a smoke free home.
My Experience
I have an HNC in Early Years and Childcare. I worked for 12 years in a local Partnership Nursery and attended a wide variety of training and personal development courses to ensure my skills and knowledge where updated.
I am currently working in an Afterschool Club 4 afternoons a week and have had pvg checks done recently for my job. I am registered with the Scottish Social Services Council, have a Food Hygiene Certificate and hold a valid First Aid Certificate.
I have worked with children whose ages have ranged from 3 years old to 12 years old throughout my 16 years of working in these two Professional Settings
I have had experience with children who have special needs through my jobs and personally as my son has mobility problems.
My Qualifications
An HNC in Early Education and Childcare, a variety of Childcare training certificates, a Food Hygiene certificate and a current First Aid certificate.
My Availability
I am available to work mornings and any evenings after 6; weekends and school holidays are suitable too.
