About Me
My name is Melissa Vaissiere I am 30 years old.I live in Leicester and I currently work as a deputy manager in a nursery. I hold a level 3 qualification in childcare, have a valid DBS and I am also SENCO trained too. I have worked in childcare now for 11 years.
I have also recently had a baby myself she is 2 years old I had her in june 2021 so not only have I got lots of experience working with toddlers/preschoolers in a nursery setting I also have newborn baby experience too!
I am very friendly, enthusiastic and very hard working.
I am realiable and willing and love to see children develop and grow.
I also have paediatric first aid training too. I have my own car so driving wouldn't be a problem either.
My Experience
I studied level 3 children's learning, care and development for 2 years at college. Whilst studying I had to go to 4 work placements during the 2 year course and spend 6 months at each placement. This involved me working at 2 nurseries and 2 primary schools. This was great as I got to experience working with different age groups/ranges. Whilst at my placements I had to create portfolios and plan activities for the children to do which was great fun! After the 2 year course I came out with a MDD which stands for merit, distinction, distinction and I was given my level 3 childcare certificate. I now work full time at a nursery as a deputy manager and I have been there coming up for 3 years now. I love my job and working with children as it is so rewarding!
