About Me
Having dedicated all my life to working with children I take great pride on the quality of the service I can provide. I am caring and loving when treating the little ones which makes it easy for me to build strong relationships with them and their parents. I understand the importance of treating children with respect and kindness, enphasizing the importance of communication and didactic activities, helping them to develop a sound character.
My Experience
I have experienced working with children for over 25 years. I finished my career in (Hons Degree) 1989 and had my own private nursery for 10 years. Then came to this country and worked for different chains of nurseries from 2000 to 2011. Most recently I managed a nursery for the chain called Places for Children (Islington Branch) where I was responsible for 75 children from the ages of 4 months to 5 years. Wanting to start working from home I registered as a childminder and from the beginning of February 2011 I have been working at home.
My Qualifications
l hold a bachelors degree in education from back home which is equivalnt to NVQ leve5. I have also gained qualifications here in the UK in child care and education NVQ level 3. I have also have done many courses such as Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection, Food and Hygiene, Makaton, Play to Learn, Play Quality Responding to SEN, Working with Children with Speech and Language Difficulties . Heath and Safety etc.
My Availability
l work Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, However l am willing to negociate longer hours. l am register to look after 6 children: 3 under the age of 5 years and 3 children between the ages 5 and 8 years. My public insurance, along with ofsted,allows me to mind children over 8 years of age.
