About Me
I'm a qualified primary school teacher, specialising in Early Years, and have recently had my first child. I live in Iwade, East Kent, but am willing to travel for jobs. I taught Reception class for 2 years and Year 2 for 1 year, before leaving to have my baby.
Alongside caring for children, I offer a programme of study, getting young children school ready and prepared for the challenges that Reception class brings, including daily phonics sessions, support for early reading, writing and mathematics, as well as planned opportunities for physical development. For older children, I will support them with their studies, with my knowledge and experience of the current national curriculum and school expectations of children at different stages of their education.
My Experience
As well as my teaching experience, I have experience as a live in nanny, working for 4 years (full then part time) for a family in Bromley, taking care of their 2 children, aged 2 & 3 at the start of my time with them.
I also have experience of taking care of newborns; my daughter is 4 months old and I am her sole carer.
