We Love Lucky Beans

Our daughter started when she was 8 months and has been going for almost 2 years now. We love the staff and she always has a great time with loads of activities.

Wonderful environment

My son has been with Caroline at Lucky Beans for the last 1.5 years, since he was 9 months. I was nervous about sending him to a nursery when he was still a baby and after viewing a few which felt too institutional, I met Caroline and saw her home and it was perfect. The Lucky Beans environment feels more like a loving family and I know that my son is happy there and the team all care for him. He also gets great development there, they do lots of craft activities focussing on building different skills, have a great garden space for lots of outdoor play and go to the local parks and playgrounds. Caroline and the team are very supportive of the parents and I feel so lucky that when I am back at work I know my son is well cared for, happy and learning more than he would do with just me.

Looked after our son for over a year

Caroline and her team have looked after our son, who is now 2, for more than a year. We both have busy jobs and he is often the first to arrive and the last to leave, but this is made so much easier by knowing that he is safe, happy and much loved at Lucky Beans. Caroline and her helpers have really taken the time to get to know him, they know exactly how to distract him when he is upset, and they provide a range of activities which keep him cheerful and occupied. We love getting the photos of what they are all up to throughout the day, from water play and picnic lunches in the summer to library trips and soft play in the winter. The atmosphere is always calm and relaxed and the children play beautifully together. We are always being complimented on our son's language development, manners and good eating habits and feel that this is in no small part due to the environment that Caroline provides. We hope to continue our association with Lucky Beans for many years to come, we simply couldn't be happier.

Wonderful and caring environment

As new parents, we were very apprehensive about putting our daughter into care at such a young age, 6 months. However Caroline and her team have been a complete joy from the beginning. They made us feel completely relaxed in the knowledge that our daughter was in a fun and caring environment. We have now seen our daughter develop from a happy and content baby into a very capable and determined little toddler. We believe this is down to all the varied activities and games the children at Lucky Beans get to experience, including painting, music, reading and most of all, getting as much fresh air and running around together as possible. We feel very fortunate we are part of the Lucky Beans family and would recommend it to anyone.

Home from Home

Our daughter started at Lucky Beans in January 2017 when she was just over one year old. Caroline and all the staff at Lucky Beans were amazing. She found the transition of being looked after just by me to being looked after by others really hard, and they were with her every step of the way. They hardly put her down at the beginning and she consistently felt loved and cared for. From being quite reticent, she has really blossomed to become confident and sociable. Her friends at Lucky Beans mean a great deal to her as do all the staff, and she regularly recites all of their names at home with a huge smile on her face. She couldn't be happier or more comfortable there. The garden is a great space for the kids to run about in, and the facilities are top notch. Caroline is relaxed and loving, but also never complacent, she is always striving to bring in new experiences for the children, and always fizzing with ideas. She is great at doing constructive things and there is lots of art, craft and learning of numbers and the ABC, but I also really appreciate the free play they do every day as I think this is as important, if not more so, than structured activities. I would heartily recommend Lucky Beans to anyone.

Couldn't be happier!

Caroline and her team at Lucky Beans completely came to our rescue when we decided to have a last minute change in childcare plans. From the start, everyone has been warm, welcoming and extremely caring and our daughter is so happy to be there.
Wonderful setting, excellent team and great facilities. Couldn't be happier and delighted to have our daughter at Lucky Beans.
