About Me
I am 20 years old and currently studying an online degree in Natural Sciences. I have always been interested in a career in childcare as I adore taking care of and playing with children. I think I actually get on better with kids than adults as I love playing games and doing fun activities with children like colouring/crafts, baking and sports. I am very academic so can also help with homework when required.
My Experience
I have 4 younger siblings so I have done a lot of babysitting, especially for the youngest 2 one of which has special needs. I also have a 10 month old nephew who I often take care of too. I have previously worked in a nursery and in a year 4 class within a school for a year, giving me some professional experience as well.
My Qualifications
I have 14 A*-C GCSEs; maths x2, english x3, science x3, ICT, Spanish, etc and 3 A levels (2 in science) so can help out with homework! My A level in Health and Social Care has given me a good background knowledge that will assist in childcare jobs i.e. learning and development of children.
My Availability
At the moment I work Tues-Thurs but if I get a regular job in childcare I plan to leave my current job as I would prefer to work with children.
