About Me
Hello! My name is Nicole and I am a caring, confident and creative 27 year old living in my hometown, Newbury. I love working with children and have experience working with ages 1 to 14. I love inspiring kids to explore their natural curiosity and imagination, joining in with dress up and sing-alongs, playing on the PlayStation and exploring the outdoors. I enjoy baking, arts and crafts, playing outdoors, reading, writing, plants and yoga among other things and am happy getting stuck into anything. I'm planning to move to Australia in April 2024 so am looking for a part time role as well as childcare jobs until then.
My Experience
I graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2017 and have since worked in fundraising and events for health charities in Oxford and London. Whilst studying, I worked for two childcare charities for children with autism and siblings of disabled children, organising fun days out and providing rest-bite for parents and guardians. I have worked as a volunteer teaching assistant at my local primary school which I loved, also providing general babysitting services for local parents and neighbours - picking children up from school, making them dinner and taking them to after school clubs, changing nappies and getting ready for bath and bedtime. I regularly look after my cousins aged 8 and 13, taking them on fun days out and helping with dinner and bedtimes.
My Qualifications
I have a 2:1 BSc Degree in Psychology from UWE, Bristol, as well as 11 GCSE's from A* to B including Maths, Science and English, and A Levels in English, Geography and Psychology.
I am first aid trained, have a full, clean driving license and have access to a car in Newbury.
My Availability
I have recently quit my job so am currently fully available, but and am looking for a part time role that I can do childcare around.
