I am a qualified Nursery Nurse, I have worked in childcare for 29 years, mainly in the early years setting in nurseries. I ran my own childminding service for 4 years where I cared for children ages 0 - 15. I worked for 4 years in a pupil support role in a primary school where I supported children with additional needs and worked in the Nurture room with children who just needed extra love and support within their school day. Most recently I have worked in early years settings in the pre-school room as an Early Years Officer, leading a team in supporting children with their early education and the transition to primary school promoting child led, free-flow play and learning.
