About Me
I am a 29-year-old primary school teacher currently living in Newcastle but soon to be moving to Durham. I have taught in a primary school in Newcastle for the last 3 years. Before that, I was a Teaching Assistant working with children with autism in a special needs school in Darlington. In my spare time, I love to play the piano and the guitar. I also enjoy being outdoors- walking, cycling, skiing and surfing.
My Experience
Most of my experience is of Key Stage 2 and I have taught Year 6 so have an understanding of the SATs system and how it works. I have good working knowledge of the teaching of Phonics and early reading and a good understanding of the requirements of the new curriculum for Literacy and Numeracy. I am also a fluent French speaker, having studied French to degree level and having lived in France for 2 years. I can speak a little Spanish.

I am available after school from 6pm every evening except Wednesday. I am available most weekends.
