My Summary

My Experience

I have worked at 2 private nurseries and am currently at a placement. In my my previous workplace I had been there 1 year and have gained a lot of knowledge and skills. I had been working with toddlers and preschoolers. At my current placement I have been here for just over 6years and has made me grow as a person and as a practitioner. I am 2nd in charge of my baby room which has given me great leadership skills and as well as being able to work as part of a team. This also includes planning activities and identifying each child's development and help encourage and develop more skills.I worked alongside SEN and also deal with children who are on the Autistic Spectrum. I also work with children as English as their second language. I have also worked in the toddler room as second in charge for 2 years. I do children's journals through the new Tapestry system which helps parents see on a weekly basis how their child is doing and developing and gives parents and staff a way to communicate effectively using different ways of resources that are being provided for the best of the child's interest. This has gained my confidence and by working with the different age groups it helps me give them the best care and education possible.
