I am a friendly and caring primary school teacher with a passion for working with children.
I graduated from the University of Chichester in 2014 and have worked in a primary school since.
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with a specialism in Early Years. I am particularly interested in providing tutoring sessions in phonics for children about to enter Reception to help them get a head start for the year. I am also available for tutoring other core subjects such as maths, writing and reading. I have an up to date DBS.
I currently work as a year 2 teacher at a London school. I have up to date training in one of the UK’s most popular phonics schemes as well as maths.
My Experience
I have worked in schools since leaving university in 2014. I started off as a teaching assistant. Then moved to working 1:1 with a child with ASD. Now, I have been a qualified teacher for 6.5 years.
I have taught in years reception, 1, 2 and 3.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with an early year specialism.
I have a degree in Media production and screenwriting.
I have a full DBS check.
My Availability
I am available on a Monday or Thursday evening. I can come to your house to deliver the sessions or they can be provided via Zoom or Microsoft Teams but there will need to be an adult present with the child for the duration of the session.
I am also available in the school holidays most days.
