About Me
Hi, my name is Emma, I have recently moved to Valley Rd, newhaven from Woodingdean. I'm really looking forward to meeting some new children. I know this is a crazy time for all of us and it's important to all stay safe! if you have any questions for childcare when things start getting back to normal please give me a call.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder in the Newhaven area of East Sussex rated by Ofsted "good". I live with my husband Mark and our 3 children, they are aged 12,15 and 18 they are my world.
I provide a variety of fun and stimulating activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We like to attend the local play groups, have trips out to local parks and farms. We have lots of different toys and fun activities to help with children's development.
I am a very lucky mummy that can actually say that I absolutely love my job!!
I have 19 years of childcare and special need experience.

My Experience
I have 3 children of my own.
For 7 years Before childminding I worked as a teaching assistant in a special need school, I have cared for/ taught children with ASC helping them with their language and communication. I have also worked with children that are PMLD and SLD.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Award in preparing to work in home based childcare (QCF) ofsted graded good.
Paediatric first aid certificate (meets Ofsted requirements)
Teaching assistant anual training and updates. sensory training, PEC training, safeguarding, health and safety.

Emma is so caring, helpful, kind and fun for the children. My Granddaughter was so very happy when she knew she was going to Emma's setting. Always such fun and many lovely days out to Drusillas zoo, Paradise Park, Fort, local parks so enjoyable the time spent with Emma! I highly recommend anyone thinking of childcare placement.

Emma has cared for my son for 3.5 years now. She is a kind, loving, and attentive childminder who goes above and beyond to ensure that my son is happy. My son has never been bored and is always so happy to go to Emma's house. She plans interesting and engaging activities, as well as days out. I am a Deputy Headteacher, so I am very occupied during the week. It is so wonderful to know that I never have to worry about my son whilst he is in Emma's care. A rare gem!

When my partner and I were looking for childminders, we did not expect to find such a source of support in Emma. WE are now 18 months on and we feel so lucky to have found her! She provides the children with a fun, relaxed environment. She is incredibly creative in the activities she provides to the children and her energy levels and motivation when she is around the children is amazing. She is excellent when communicating with us, which is a task in itself as life from our end can become rather chaotic, however she provides a calm and caring approach to us as well as our little boy!
