About Me
My name is Jo and I am an outstanding ofsted registered childminder. I live in a detached house with a large garden on the rural edge of North Petherton. I have two beautiful, friendly boys aged 7&5.
We moved to North Petherton from Bristol about 4.5 years ago. Before childminding I worked in a Bristol school as a Parent Support Advisor. My husband works in 16+ education at Bridgwater College.
My ethos when working with children is to largely inspired by the natural world. We regularly venture out on trips to the woods, beach and spend a great deal of our time outdoors. Activities are centred around the children’s interests and next steps
My Experience
I have 6 years experience as a Parenting Practitioner in a primary school. This has involved running parenting programmes, safeguarding children and working in partnership with families and agencies to ensure children get the best possible start in life. This commitment to supporting children in accessing the best possible service is something I am committed to as a childminder.
Previous to this I have worked as a nanny to 5 children and in nurseries.

Btec National Diploma in Early Years
Paediatric first aid
Safeguarding and Child Protection
BSc Psychology Hons
My Availability
I offer term time only childcare, Monday-Wednesday.
I will be available for before and after school care and collection and drops offs at North Petherton Primary School.
