Key Skills
• Communication
o As a Health Care Assistant I communicated with different service users. This helped me communicate effectively, by giving me the confidence to support a diverse group of individuals.
• Organisational
o As part of my course module in Health and Social care level 3 I had the opportunity to carry out a health campaign. This helped me improve my organisations skill by having to Plan and promote the health campaign.
• Interpersonal skill
o As part of my Health and Social Care course level 3 I passed a counseling module, this included carrying out a practice counseling session on an individual. By doing this I was able to empathies with the individual.

• Research/ Report writing
o During my first year at university I was involved in a research study on stress and wrote a report on the study how stress can effect the human body.
o I also had the opportunity to use SSPS to run a statistical analysis my research findings. For example putting in the information of my experiment findings on SPSS and collect the result.

• Team work
o As a Health Care Assistant I worked as team with nurses, doctors and other health care professionals. My duties were to take service users blood pressure, carry out personal care and helping with the rehabilitation of service users.
• Sign Language
Through my experience working at Stoke Lake Park School,I had the opportunity to gain a level 2 qualifications in sign language.
