About Me
My name is Aimee Alstin and I am 27 years old. I have a passion for childcare and have enjoyed working in the child care sector since leaving school in 2012. When I left school I spent six months doing voluntary work in a nursery until an apprentice position became available. I am fun and easy going, and love being around people. I adapt to new work situations well and can think on my feet when I need to. I feel I have developed good people skills over my years in childcare. Parent partnership is so important to me in being able to ensure children's well-being.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for the last eleven years. I am SENCo trained and have completed several suffolk CPD courses such as, Mental health in early years, Listening, understanding and speaking, Early years safeguarding and Early years special educational needs coordinator training (SENCo) plus a couple more. I have experience with ages from 4 months all the way up to 17 years of age as i also worked for Mark Warner in Greece as a Nanny / activity leader. In my last setting I was Pre-school room leader, SENCo lead and behaviour manager. I also have lots of years of babysitting experience and still babysit for 4 -5 families every now and again.
