I don't know why my profile has been put with "Parents" rather than "Nannies"!
I'm a fully qualified Nanny with 25 + years experience.
I specialise in creative play for early years and have worked with children from birth to 12 years.
I have a very joyful, enthusiastic and creative approach as I love my work. I have a lively imagination and love to nurture children's unique gifts and talents. I design and make my own range of educational Discovery Boxes for young children and have developed, designed and curated a huge collection of high quality wooden and natural toys (some of which are available in my online shop). I have seen these resources make a big difference in encouraging creative imagination, increasing focus and attention span, developing problem solving abilities, building self confidence, increasting happiness and stimulating learning and development of all kinds.
I also make up stories from my head at the drop of a hat, and adore reading to children and encouraging a love of literacy.
I work in a very child-focused, fun, attentive and intuitive way, building rapport by listening, encouraging and being fully present to all a child wants to share. I am gentle, warm and caring and have a great love for children.

20+ years experience in childcare including schools, nurseries, special needs, kids' clubs, mother's help, housekeeping and nannying.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Early Years Care & Education
Various certificates in all aspects of school care and education eg preventing bulling, raising self esteem, safeguarding etc as well as counselling and psychotherapy courses. Pediatric First Aid. Available to view on request.

My Fees
- Nannying from £14.50 per hour (gross)
£14.50 if local (within MK18) - £15-16.50/hr if travelling outside the Buckingham area.
