My Experience

I have a 2:1 degree in Education Studies and have a great depth of experience within the education sector. I have worked as a: Play Worker, Learning Mentor, Cover Teacher, Private Tutor and a Nursery Nurse.

I tutor in the following subject areas:
* Early Years
*Reading and Writing
*Primary School (4-11 years). I have passed Qualified Teacher Skills Tests (QTS) in English and Maths.
*Children who have additional needs such as, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
*Secondary School Study Skills and Revision Techniques

I am an experienced Nursery Nurse. I have worked in the Baby Room, Toddler Room and in Preschool. I have worked as an NHS Nursery Nurse.

I have experience of working with children who have special educational needs. I have worked at a playscheme for children with autism. I also have experience of working with children who have English as an additional language.

Alongside my university studies I worked as a Learning Mentor. I worked with children who were studying for their GCSEs on a 1:1 basis. I helped the students with revision techniques, study skills and with college applications. This job involved me having to plan individual sessions for each child to meet their specific needs.

My Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Diploma for the Early Year Practitioner (Early Years Educator) (Work-based)

I completed my degree at the University of Gloucestershire in 2016 and received the following result:
Education Studies BA Hons - 2:1

I have completed Qualified Teacher Skills Tests (QTS) in English and Maths.

My Availability

I am available until 3pm Monday-Friday. I am available on Sunday evenings after 5pm.

I do not drive but am confident in travelling to locations on the bus. I also have a fiancé who has a car and helps me with lifts.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £15.00 per hour

£13 per hour babysitting rates
£15 Private Tutor

Nannying fee to be discussed with the family.
