About Me
I am a mature woman who has spent the whole of my working life providing care for children ( mainly under five ) I have also raised my own 2 children , both now young adults .
I am DBS checked by LBB and hold a current first aid certificate and have a level 3 childcare certificate .
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience of caring for under fives both in nurseries and home based childcare settings as a childminder and babysitter .
I have worked in various nurseries over the years and am currently working for The London Borough Barnet in a nursery and a crèche worker providing care for children from birth to 5 years while parents attend parenting classes .
In addition to this I also work part time in a Barnet after school club and holiday club .
I also have some experience caring for children with additional needs as my role for Barnet up until a couple of years ago also included inclusion support for LBB Childrens centres .
My Qualifications
Level 3 qualification ( CACHE DIPLOMA FOR THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLES WOORKFORCE )
12 hour paediatric first aid certificate .
My Availability
My availability varies from week to week but am available for evening babysitting and also sometimes will have availability during day , mainly afternoons and some weekends too . So at present am only available for casual babysitting ( no regular commitments ) but may also be able to provide emergency cover to help you out when you have problems with regular childcare arrangements and during school holidays . So although I have only ticked boxes for evening work will also be available sometimes during day .
