Hi, my name is Shannon. I am a 24 year old local Primary School Teacher looking to provide private tuition at weekends and over the holidays. If you are interested, please do message me with some details and hopefully or schedules will match up.
I am DBS and QTS certified and can provide copies of these upon request.
My Experience
As a Primary School Teacher I have gained invaluable experience in a classroom environment, with children aged 4-11. I am currently a Year 3 teacher (previously Y2 and Y4) but have been placed in many year groups and am confident within my subject knowledge.
I believe that my approachable and outgoing nature would be an excellent match for a family, as I have experience in both working with younger children, but also in the educational side of working with children both in the Early Years and general Primary School, so I would be happy to help with reading, homework and projects as part of my general day.
I understand there is a short time now until the 11+ and am happy to host specific 1:1 or small group sessions that will focus on test confidence and technique in preparation for the GL provided exam papers for the Kent Test.
My Qualifications
16 GCSEs, B and above
3 A Levels: Law, English and History
BA Primary Education Degree
My Availability
I am happy to drive within a 5 mile radius of myself free of charge and will charge a small fee for any further afield. I will charge hourly and am happy to do a reduced rate for small groups.
I have more flexibility during school holidays but am able to tutor at the weekends or after school (dependent on work commitments). Please message me to discuss schedules.
