Hi, my name is Ashley. I’m 34yrs old & a fully qualified nursery nurse. I love working with children & have based most of my jobs around them. I am a mummy of 2 delightful children. Life is always eventful with children in your life but I wouldn’t have it any other way. They make my day.
I have a HNC in childcare & education. I worked in a nursery for 5 years in various rooms looking after children from 0-5yrs. I worked my way up in the baby room to be supervisor. I left the nursery to become a self employed nanny, which I’ve done for 4/5 yrs. I took some time out in 2016 to spend with my own 2 & just worked in the evening instead. Ive also been babysitting for 9 years for the children in the nursery then the 1s I’ve nannied for & from people passing onto friends so have lots of experience with children.
I currently only nanny on a Thursday morning the now, due to the other family I was with circumstances changing. I am available all week.
Im very good at sourcing places to take the children whether it’s outdoors activities or little classes, I like to get them out & about. I know my 2 would drive me insane if i stayed indoors with them all day.

My Availability
Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Friday anytime, Thursday afternoon. My children are in nursery Monday Tuesday full day Wednesday morning then off the Thursday Friday. I have often taken my children with me when nannying as long as the parents were ok with it. It’s worked out great for both my kids getting to play with others & for helping the other children get used to others & learn to socialise. My kids days/times can be changed to suit the family though if they would prefer my children weren’t there on the days i worked. My little boy goes to school this yr so it would really only be my little girl 3.
