Hi there,
My name is Trudy, I am a 25 year old from the lovely county Clare in Ireland.
I am reliable and punctual and have a great way with children.
I have a degree in Musical Theatre so naturally I have a love for music and drama.
I also love the outdoors as I grew up in a very rural part of Ireland so playing outside and going for lovely walks and cycles was a key part of my childhood that I thoroughly enjoyed.
I definitely have a gentle approach to working with children as I believe they need patience and understanding to grow into the wonderful little people they are.
Not to blow my own horn but I am a great cook and really enjoy making healthy meals for the families I’m minding (I’m also fond of rainy day baking Lots of tasty treats). The kids I used to nanny loved baking with me however it was definitely eating the finished product that was the highlight.
The last parents I worked for said that they really noticed the development in their children from having a nanny that prioritized the children and playing with them and constantly being there to answer questions etc not buried in other chores, really helped with their progression! I am more than happy to do plenty of housework but with me the children are the first priority.

My Experience
I have been babysitting since I was a young teenager, and started nannying during the summers while I studied to pay for my tuition, I was looking after a family 5 children, which was definitely a great challenge but with my youthful and fun loving energy it kept me young. My second nannying gig was after I was released from my performing contract due to covid lockdown halting the cruise ships I started nannying for a wonderful family in Dublin, with two boys aged 4 and 6. It was the experience of a lifetime and I was with the family for a year, the reason I left was to go traveling but they were with me every step of the way as we were in constant contact. I have been lucky enough to join in with such wonderful families that have really accepted me into the family and made me feel more than welcome. Let’s just say leaving them resulted in many a tear from all party’s involved. I have also worked as a live in nanny in london for a lovely 6 year old boy and 9 year old girl!
