My name is Jess, I live with my husband and 3 year old daughter in Chandler's Ford.
I like to think I have a good sense of humour (vital when working with children!) I enjoy being outside; walks in the forest, going to the beach, zoo etc. I also like to read and spend quality time with family.
I have a full, clean driving licence and my own car.
My Experience
I have worked with children since I left college in 2006 (apart from a couple of years out for travelling) I spent a number of years in a preschool, working my way up deputy manager. I have also nannied abroad and back in the UK.
With previous families I have helped with cooking and laundry for the children, keeping the children's areas clean and tidy, taking the children to groups/park/library/farm etc
I am more than happy to help walk dogs etc and generally get stuck in with day to day family life.
Since having my daughter I have another perspective on childcare, I know it can be difficult to leave your children with somebody else, so I would happily work closely with the family to create strong and trusting relationships.
My Qualifications
I studied a level 3 CACHE diploma in childcare and education, receiving grades B,B,A
CRB online check
Previously Ofsted registered and willing to reregister for tax free childcare if needed
