About Me
Hello, my name is Kelly and I am mum to three children/ adults aged 16, 22 & 24 and a proud ‘nan’ to my granddaughters, aged 3 and 1 years old.
I have spent the past year working with children with autism and behaviour problems, within a special school. My previous experience includes working as an early years practitioner and within reception at mainstream primary. I have had roles as a 1:1 as well as providing wrap around care for a child with additional needs.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with loved ones and friends, walking my dogs and tending to my other pets which range from rabbits to reptiles!
My Experience
Apart from my experience of caring for babies and children as a parent/ grandparent, I have worked within the childcare industry for a number of years as an Early Years Practitioner at a pre-school setting and currently within Early Years at a primary school. I have also had the opportunity to work with children with additional needs of varying school ages.
I have an up to date DBS, a certificate in paediatric first aid valid until 2021 & current safeguard training.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Diploma in childcare and am trained in paediatric first aid.
My Availability
