My Experience
I have over 6 years experience in a nursery/ preschool setting, with one years experience as a team leader. I have had experience in nursery's from the ages of newborn to 5 years old. My responsibilities with in the setting were to: Plan and prepare the curriculum such as characteristics of Effective Learning, Ensure that the room is safe and organized manner. I am also liable for making sure medical and allergy plans are kept up to date with in the setting and it is well communicated within the room and to the right people and the inclusion of children with special educational needs and those with English as a second language. Whilst doing work experience, I have been trusted to be a nursery practitioner on the summer holidays. This means that i proved to people that I have gained a professional manner with in the work place. i have cared for children outside of working hours being a babysitting for parents, friends and family.
