About me:
I have worked as a nanny for nearly 10 years, but have just returned from a break of couple of years in India where also my son was born. He is now nearly 9 months old and is a very happy and social baby. My husband and I have recently moved to Thame and this area is fairly new to us but I’m very keen to explore more of it. I will be looking for a part time job where I can take my son with me. The rest of my profile info is unchanged from previous years.
I am a generally happy and a positive person, I like joking and laughing. I'm a hard worker and I really enjoy working with kids, watching them learn and improving themselves. I am very punctual and I get a little stressed if I'm running late. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, rock climbing, hiking and cooking, I also write a food blog.
My Experience
I have nearly 10 years of experience working as nanny, I've worked with children from the age of 0 -12 years old.I used to be Ofsted registered (I'm willing to re-register if necessary), I have a First Aid certificate and CBR check.
Over the years I have been working for for 3 different families in Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield so I know the area pretty well.
I keep in touch with all the families I used to work for and from time to time visit them to catch up with everyone, so I'm sure any of them will be happy to talk to you and give you my references.
I have full driving license and my own car.
My duties would include:
-sole charge of all different stages of babies development, (bottle feeding, nappy change, sleep routine, weaning, etc.)
-Getting children ready for school/nursery/day at home
-Preparing breakfast
-School/Nursery/play group drop off and pick up.
-Planning activities and going to play groups with younger children.
-Cooking healthy lunches and dinners and baking not so healthy but very yummy cakes.
-Supervising kids homework
-Light Housework (laundry, keeping kids bedrooms and play rooms tidy, tidying after meals)
-Grocery shopping
-School uniform preparation
-giving a helping hand with anything I can help with.
-AND ABOVE ALL - letting kids do their most important job - playing and learning through different games and just being kids.
My Qualifications
I have nearly 10 years of experience working as nanny, I've worked with children from the age of 0 -12 years old. I can look after up to 4 children at a time.
I used to be ofsted registered (I'm willing to re-register if necessary), I have a First Aid certificate and CBR check.
My Availability
