My Summary
About Me
I live in the village of Huncote with my husband and 2 children. I am a qualified primary school teacher and moved onto childminding around my teaching job when my children were born. My eldest is now 10 and my youngest 8. I now manage the local Preschool in the mornings and childmond around those hours. However, this does mean I do not offer childcare between the hours of 8.45 and 3.15. We have a cat and a black labrador, both love the children in my care
And are very friendly animals and always under supervision.
My Experience
I gained Quailified Teacher Status in 2007 and worked from the EYFS through to year 6 in primary schools up until 2017. I now manage the local preschool with 2-4 year olds and childmind primary aged children before and after school. I have up to date training, first aid and relevant DBS checks. As does my husband who is currently working from home due to Lockdown. I was rated Good in my last ofsted inspection.
My Qualifications
PGCE in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Statues
2:1 Hons Education Studies and English literature Degree
A-levels and GSCE grades C and above.
Paediatric first aid certificate
Training across the Early Years including teaching, learning, behaviour and development, loose parts, communication and language development and Designated Safeguard leader training.
