My Experience

During my time as an Early Years Practitioner I grew to realise my passion lay with working with children and families. Whilst having a wide range of experience and knowledge I still continue to grow and learn everyday and welcome constructive criticism to better my practice. My children and families are at the heart of my practice. I have a positive attitude, patience, a nurturing persona and dedication. I have excellent communication skills and an ability to form strong, positive working relationships with children and parents/carers . I feel I am a positive role model for children, demonstrating emotional resilience, integrity, honesty and friendliness within professional boundaries as set out by the SSSC and company policies. My personal values are in line with the SSSC codes of practice and I demonstrate these values through my professional practice. I work well within a team, both immediate and wider inter-disciplinary teams, however I also work well and with integrity when working alone. I understand the importance of keeping up to date with current best practice, legislation and policies and to maintain my training and education for professional development and registration with the SSSC.
