About Me
I am mother to 3 grown up children and am a registered Nanny. I am a fun and extremely kind, loving person/nanny and both flexible and easy going. I was very fortunate to be able to be a full-time mum to my 3 children as they grew up and I loved every minute of being with them, watching them grow and develop and having lots of fun along the way. I now have two grandchildren who I see and look after regularly. I love my job and get a great deal of satisfaction in knowing that the children I care for always have a bond with me and feel really comfortable with me in their daily lives. As an emergency nanny I am usually meeting different families every day and quickly establish a good relationship with all members, I am always requested back. I always naturally take care of any child like they were my own, with gentleness and warmth and a with a happy disposition.
I enjoy taking the children in my care out and about as much as we can. Whether it be to the countryside, parks, playgroups or days out in London. I have a large safe car with Isofix fittings, I hold the advanced roadcraft certificate (Blue Light Driving, although my car is NOT fitted as a blues and twos!)
I have much experience of infection control which is important during the present pandemic time. I am trained in and have many competencies relating to healthcare, infection awareness and advanced life support.
My Experience
I have much experience with children of all ages from babies to teenagers and I connect well with them all. From my raising my own family, working in schools, healthcare and nannying, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and compassion with peopIe and children from all walks of life. I have a clinical/nursing background, and have advanced first aid training from my various healthcare roles.
My Qualifications
I am educated to A level standard and, in the past, have Operating Department Practitioner (Operating Theatre training), and more recently studied to be an Emergency Ambulance Practitioner. I have passed the Roadcraft (Blue Light Driving Course) and possess an enhanced DBS. I am a registered nanny.
My Availability
I am available any time but would prefer week day placement with occasional weekend work. I am happy to work full days and shorter days and would welcome babysitting opportunities.
