About Me
I have just graduated in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University and am currently looking for part-time or full-time childcare work. I am creative, enthusiastic and energetic and I love putting these traits to use when working with kids - whether it's exploring outdoors, assisting with completing homework or getting involved with fun, creative projects. I am reliable and take great pride in my organisation and people skills.
My Experience
I have over five years of childcare experience but I started working as a nanny in a more professional environment three years ago. I have worked both as a self-employed nanny and for a childcare agency through which I was able to work part-time helping families with school pick-ups, after-school activities and homework as well as preparing and cooking dinner. I have also worked extensively in schools and nurseries, including work experience placements, P.E training projects and last year I was lucky enough to travel to Ghana to volunteer in a primary school there. I have a great interest in teaching children and during the last year of my degree, I selected to study 'Teaching Children Creative Writing' in which I constructed and delivered workshops and lesson plans specifically designed to help children express themselves through writing. I believe this is an extremely valuable and transferrable tool for life.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
After 8pm, I charge a babysitter rate of £8 p/hr instead of my nannying rate of £10 p/hr.
