About Me
I'm eighteen years old, and am currently studying CACHE Level 3 in Childcare and Education (CRB checked). I've absolutely loved this course, as I have always wanted to achieve a career involving children. In September, I shall go on to Wolverhampton University to study Early Primary Education in order to become a teacher.
I have been described as a very friendly, hardworking individual and I am very confident around children of various ages. Through experience, I have encountered children with SEN and disabilities, and children with challenging behaviour, and from this, I have learnt many methods on how to adapt my practice to suit children's needs.
My Experience
I regularly babysit for my sisters (aged 10 & 12) and have done so for the past three years.
As part of my course, I have completed 50 days in a Year 2 class (aged 6 - 7), 50 days in a Nursery class (2 - 5), and am currently attending a baby placement (10 mths - 18 mths).
Through my experience, I have learnt how to control children's behaviour, and how to provide fun experiences for them. I have learnt how to identify children's interests through observations, and how to plan activities to meet children's ages and developmental stages.
I have been fortunate enough to work alongside a range of children, and am quick at adapting my practice to meet every child's needs.
My Qualifications
GCSE's: 4 A's, 4 B's, 2 C's.
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education: Predicted an A Grade.
I also have qualifications in Functional Skills, First Aid and soon will also have a Food Hygiene qualification.
My Availability
Monday: 6pm - 11pm.
Tuesday: 5pm - 10pm.
Wednesday: 5pm - 10pm.
Thursday: 6pm - 11pm.
Friday: 3pm - 9pm.
Saturday: Anytime.
Sunday: Anytime.
