My name is Anna of Wildflower Childminding, along with partner and my assistants we provide a flexible service, which is geared up to meet the needs of the children and their parents. I know that every situation is different and would encourage you to give me a call to discuss you needs and find out how we can help you.
* We are still open during this Corona 19 pandemic for children where at least one of the parents is a key worker*
*During this pandemic we are not going on our usual adventures outside of our setting*
We are currently taking on children, we have one full time EYFS space available and a part time availability on Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday. This is due to children who are due to go to school in September who leave us this term
We have an enclosed garden, quiet sleep room, large kitchen dining room for messy and creative activities and dedicated playroom. I tailor our days to meet the needs of the children and design activities available to engage their interest and help them develop while having fun. We get out and explore the natural world as well as visiting children's museums and other places of interest, alongside engaging in free play and adult led activities. Following the requirements of the EYFS we ensure that we provide opportunities across the curriculum linked to your child's interests, and we record our days and communicate with you using Kinderly and Whats App, although we are happy to print things out as requested.
We provide home made nutritious food and a variety of healthy snacks, we also eat out sometimes to enable children to experience different environments.
We are working towards being more environmentally friendly and we offer the option of either reusable or disposable nappies which are provided as part of our fees.
I offer the 2,3 and 4 year old funded hours. With me you can use the hours between 7.30 am and 7pm, and you can do this Monday to Friday., and between 8am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday We follow the same educational curriculum as nurseries and are happy to provide a personalized service, including overnight care and weekends for shift workers.
Please contact me if you have any questions or you would like me to send you an information booklet with information about the setting and costs.
As a mom of 3 children, I have had a lot of experience looking after children of all ages, I have also done additional training in many areas, and keep up-to-date with continuous professional development courses, so that my knowledge is up to date and I can vary my care to meet the needs of individuals. I actively encourage my assistants to further their knowledge and provide opportunities for development
Every child is different as are the needs of parents so I work with parents to ensure that their children are happy, and that they get opportunities to thrive
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since February 2018.
I did pre registration training with Bradford council.
Both my assistants and I are trained in peadiatric first aid
I have a training file available for parents to view when they visit, which has all of our training certificates in, if you would like a full list of my training please message me.
We currently do drop offs and collections for Blakehill Primary School, Thackley and Our Lady St Brendans Primary School.

Anna provided a very professional and reassuring babysitting service. We had never left the boys with anyone other than a relative before so we were nervous about leaving them in the care of someone we don’t know. Anna came round to meet the family and to give us the opportunity to meet her and ask any questions we might have.
I would definitely recommend Anna and would use her again.
