About Me
Mature, very experienced nanny and mother to a wonderful eleven year old boy. I'm currently studying part time and looking for work to fit in around this and the care of my son. I'm also a qualified ECB cricket coach and work part time in this field with young children.
I'm incredibly pro-active, discreet, organized and above all reliable. Professional experience aside, as a parent myself I understand the importance of finding good childcare, often at short notice. A dog owner and happy around pets.
A Muswell Hill resident, familiar with and more than happy to work within most areas as I have my own car when public transport is unavailable.
My Experience
22 years of nannying both in the UK and abroad. Prior to the birth of my son roles were varied but mainly full time proxy parent positions caring for new born babies to much older 14 year olds. Lots of fun and lots of love combined with structured education and development.
A trained maternity nurse, I have confident knowledge of weaning, potty and sleep training procedures, breast feeding, diabetes/ blood sugar conditions and management and happy to advise where needed.
Prior to motherhood I was Ofsted registered. I have 2 enhanced disclosures (one for childcare and one from the ECB due to my work in cricket with children). As a level 2 coach I have full safe guarding training and first aid. Of course it goes without saying that I'm happy to provide references.
My Qualifications
I undertook general nurse training many years ago before changing over to childcare. Since then I've always pursued further training to assist with my responsibilities, particularly the educational side of childcare.

My Availability
I'm looking for work that allows some flexibility with care of my own son. Ideally this would be part time daytime positions Monday to Friday but I do also have some availabilty for ad hoc evening work.
