About Me
Up until Christmas, I was an HLTA in a primary school and before that was a Cover Supervisor in a special needs school for 4 years. I am also a respite carer which I love. I love walking, reading and music. I enjoy working with/looking after children and helping them to learn and achieve. I'm a big fan of child led play, messy play, imaginative play and letting children explore and be imaginative while encouraging them to try new things and become as independent as possible.
My Experience
I have a BA Hons degree in education. Recent DBS check in September 2022. Previously STEPs trained and Signalong trained. Experience of working in a mainstream High School before my degree. Four years experience in a Special Needs School since my degree. I have worked as and HLTA in a mainstream Primary School. I also have a 2 year old son so have lots of toys and activities for toddler and baby stages.
My Qualifications
BA Hons Degree in Education. A levels in Music, Sociology and English Literature. 6 GCSEs A-C grades. Signalong trained. STEPS trained. Baby music trained. Youth Mental health qualification.
