About Me
I have been a registered Child-minder in the Neston area for over 30 years. During this time I have looked after many of the local children and their siblings, with families staying with me for many years. I still see many of these children when I am out and about, they all have their own happy memories of their time with me, which makes me proud of the job I do. I have 5 grown up daughter's and 7 Grand-children who all live locally so any child in my care quickly becomes part of our large family. I provide a variety of activities to keep children busy and happy. I live in a detached house which backs on to a play park. There is plenty of space for the children to play with a 33foot lounge, a kitchen/diner plus a separate playroom. There is also a secure rear garden with a gate that leads directly into the park. All my Child-minding facilities are on the ground floor. There is ample parking and I am on a direct bus route to Birkenhead, Chester, Liverpool, Ellesmere port, Heswall etc. The bus stop is just 2 minutes walk away. I also live opposite the Wirral way which is lovely for our walks to the library, tumble tots or just to see the squirrel's. I take and collect children from Neston primary school and Acorn pre-school. We attend many events at the school/pre-school including sports days, assemblies, presentations and nativity plays.
My Experience
I have had over 30 years experience as a registered Child-minder and a few more years as a mum. During this time I have looked after many children of different ages from 0 -16 years and children with individual special needs. I have taken children to speech therapy and helped with their speech exercises. When I have had a child who needed extra help, I have taken on board advise from parents and professionals to help these children while they are in my care. I help with children's homework, reading and spelling when needed. I also take children to parties and appointments if their parents are working.
My Qualifications
I have complete courses in child protection, birth to three matters, putting EYFS into practise and I have just completed another first aid course.

My Fees
- Childminding from £3.00 per hour
I charge £25.00 for a full day from 8.00am to 5.30pm and £15 for a half day from 8.00am to 12.30pm morning session or 1pm to 5.30pm afternoon session. I am flexible with these hours and can open a bit earlier or stay open a bit later by arrangement. Extra hours outside the daily or half day hours are charged at the hourly rate. I provide lunch and snacks with a small charge for evening meal if required.
