About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder in Blofield Heath. I am conveniently situated for those coming from Acle, South Walsham and Blofield too.
I have three children of my own. My husband is also registered as my Assistant which is of great benefit to my setting.
I provide lots of activities and have many resources. We spend a lot of time outside either playing in the garden with mud, water and sand. We also visit the local park and explore the woods. Occasionally, we may go further afield.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have experience in caring for the under fives including babies and also children aged 5 - 10 years. I also have 3 children of my own aged 15, 13 and 10. I registered with Ofsted in May 2012 and with all 3 inspections I've received a Good rating.
My Qualifications
I have completed a First Aid Course, Child Protection Course, Lead Practitioner Safeguarding Course and the Norfolk County Council Childminding Course. I have also attended courses such as Healthy Early Years and Music and Movement courses.
My husband and I have both had an Advanced CRB check.
While my husband is registered as my Assistant which has been approved by Ofsted, he has also carried out a First Aid Course, Child Protection Course and the Norfolk County Council Childminding Course. He is now able to register as a childminder in the future if he wishes.
