About Me
I am a mother of three children, all now adult and independent. I enjoy being in the great outdoors, walking my labrador, working with my horse, or cycling. I am equally at home with lovely stories, gardening, puzzles, creative activities, lego, K-nex, and tractors. Thrive on woodland walks, den building, day camps, and adventures but also love to cook, bake, sew and curl up in front of the fire with a good book. I am a competent and confident driver of a range of vehicles.
My Experience
IN excess of 26 years of experience in childcare. Mother to three adult children.
Qualified and experienced Early Years Teacher.
Montessori trained and qualified with exceptional knowledge of Early childhood development. A
Also experienced the teenage years - GCSE's, touchline Mum for rugby, hockey, netball, tennis, and cross country. I have even loaded muddy downhill mountain bikes into the back of my car with an equally muddy teenage rider.
Very happy around animals especially dogs and horses.
Relevant employment experience as a Teaching Assistant, then qualified as primary teacher 3-11 years.
Worked in both the maintained and independent sectors.
Re-trained and qualified in Early Years- experience in a large day nursery 0- 5years.
Subsequently trained and qualified as a Montessori teacher- experience in Montessori settings across the age range, 0-3, 3-6, and 6-11yrs.
Experience of working in a private household as a tutor and nanny.

BA Honours- Education, Primary aged 3-11 years. Post-Graduate-Early Years Teacher Status. Montessori Teachers Diploma. Paediatric First Aid. Updateable DBS.
