About Me
I currently work in a primary school as a learning support assistant and Forest School leader, I thoroughly enjoy working with young people and would like to continue to do so. In September I begin a degree in Ecology at Suffolk university. I shall be attending the university 3 days a week, which leaves me plenty of time to continue working. I love being outdoors and feel privileged to live in such beautiful countryside. I am always keen to share my passion and enthusiasm with children.
I take pride in the appearance and up keep of my own home and garden and would show others the same care and respect.

My Experience
Kingswood (August 2010 – February 2011) Apprentice Activity Instructor: Leading a wide variety of land based outdoor activity sessions Group Leading; liaising with teachers and party leaders, going through medical and dietary requirements of the group, ensuring all needs of the group were met. Serving food, cleaning and maintenance of activities.
Acorn Adventure (May 2011 – July 2011) Activity Instructor: Lead a range of land and water based activity sessions. Transport foods from the kitchen and serve it to guests. Maintain the site, facilities and equipment.
Lapwing (October 2011 – December 2013) Learning Mentor: Preparing young adults and children, with barriers to learning, for work through a wide variety of settings; from gardening projects to work experience in catering.
Boxted St Peter's Primary School (January 2015 – Ongoing) Learning Support Assistant / Forest School Coordinator:
To provide support for the children throughout the school. To run math and literacy intervention groups, for the appropriate children. To assist on offsite excursions. Provide specialist 1:1 support for a child with SEN.
As the School's Forest School Leader, I set up a new program. This consisted of: Liaising with local land owners to secure a woodland and walking route. Creating new policies, procedures and risk assessments. Planning and leading a range of educational sessions in the woodland environment and school pond area. Developing and leading an after-school club for pupil premium children. Recruiting and training volunteers.
Rainbow Rangers (September 2016 – Ongoing) Play worker and Forest School leader:
Before school - Prepare and serve breakfast. Promote healthy food choices to children. Engage children in relaxed learning activities.
After school – Lead Forest School sessions, for mixed age groups, in a small woodland area on a public playing field. Create and lead outdoor learning opportunities in all seasons and weathers.

My Availability
I am due to find out my university timetable within the next month, it will consist of 3 days at the university. Leaving me free to work the remaining 2 weekdays, weekends and school holidays.
